Rewind Kingston
This family-run thrift store, nestled in Kingston's Midtown Art District, offers a carefully curated collection of vintage clothing, art, vinyl, books, and novelties, each piece carrying a story of its own. This is not just a shopping experience; it's a tribute to the past, a celebration of sustainability, and a beacon of hope for a better future. At the heart of the Rewind Kingston story is the loving memory of Cassidy, a bright spirit whose influence lives on in every corner of the store. Our exclusive LoveCass brand, featuring a charming range of clothing items and delightful keepsakes like fun keychains, candles, and shot glasses, is a testament to her. Through vivid photography, I bring the spirit of Rewind Kingston alive, capturing the warmth of the family, the joy of community events, and the unique personality of the items on sale. These images are more than just pictures; they are snapshots of the love, resilience, and unity that bind us all.

Our Life Goes On
This project depicts my evolving and complicated relationship with my dad. In 2019, he took his life a day after his birthday, suffering from clinical depression. By photographing places he inhabited and my family's life over the past 2 years, I captured both tangible and intangible aspects of him. My dad was a dedicated runner and hiker. He was well-versed in humorous anecdotes, a comic book enthusiast, a skilled cook, an artist, and a devoted family man. We shared a deep friendship, discussing anything, and I received unwavering support. Through this project, I process grief and anger. While I'll never fully heal, I've taken a step closer.
